we need the relation ship between X and Y to find weather the ratio is >1 or not

Yes i also go with E.

I need to confirm a couple of things please let me know if i am wrong.

If x-y/x+y > 1 then (y<0 and x>-y).Only in such a case this eqn will be true.

If x+y/x-y > 1 then (y>0 and x>y).

If x-y > x+y then y<0

if x+y > x-y then Y>0
