Hi, I have been a chronic pain sufferer for a year (Chronic migraine and Trigeminal Neuralgia). I’ve basically had these issues for about 12 years but they range from going chronic to episodic. Because of this, I’m extremely sensitive to bright lights, bright computer or TV screens, loud sounds and also any kind of cold wind (from the air conditioner or a fan). The above mentioned things can trigger an attack within minutes or make a slightly, dull pain worse. For the bright lights in a room, I usually wear a hat indoors. I wanted to know if there is a way to request for certain accommodations at the GMAT Test center for the test day. Something like being able to adjust the brightness of a computer screen to lowest as possible, and not having any bright lights and AC or fan air around that particular seat, will actually go a long way for me to be able to give the test as best as I can and help in not triggering an attack. I’m not sure if they will even allow wearing a hat indoors. I can get a letter from my neurologist on how I’ve been in treatment for this for years. So I was just wondering if anyone here knows if these accommodations are possible? If yes, how can I go about it? Thanks in advance!
