Hello guys, hope you are doing great! Sorry to re-open this discussion, but I am looking to apply to the International Business track at SSE, and I would love to receive any insights on cutoffs/how to handle the application process?

A short breakdown of my profile:

[*]- Currently studying International Business and Economics (fully in English) at a top public university in Italy.
[*]- Incoming exchange student at UC Berkeley Haas for the fall '26 semester (merit-based scholarship)
[*]- No formal internship yet, but I am actively exploring startup opportunities in San Francisco during my exchange. I have also received offers from Seed–Series A startups in Europe for when I return
- IELTS score: 8.5, giving my GMAT next week although I expect a low score (high 580 / low 600) due to a mix of personal issues
- During my studies I have worked with 10+ startups through a student association and contributed to another association focused on educational articles in the financial sector (investment strategies and alternative assets classes)
[*]- Current GPA: 28.89/30
[*]- Most importantly (my biggest lever) I have been running a niche e-commerce business since I was 18, generating over €130K in revenue with 1,000+ customers and maintaining solid profitability
[*]

I would be grateful for any feedback or guidance on how my profile might be evaluated and how to strengthen my application, I am particularly scared due to the lower GMAT.. Any idea?
