Your concerns are very valid regardless of the program, as the on-campus recruiting mostly is tailored for specific roles and experience levels. At the same time, I think the FT program likely has a benefit of the internship as you pointed out, and a more traditional recruiting framework, but there is a spot when you are more experienced than the target demographic and you are recruiting for one level up that is not being recruited... but things work out.

They had a challenge of having regional (unknown in the US) banks on their resume and did not get a whole lot of lift with that but they did have a Big4 Brand as well, and still...
