That is my first post, I'm Italian and my english isn't very good...
I'm really far from my GMAT (at least 1y & 6m!), what should I do? :yikes
Do you think I shouldn't start worrying yet?
Be kind if my english sucks... :oops:

Welcome!
* Understand the GMAT sections and what they test.
* Take a diagonostic test and see in which areas you are weak at.
* Work hard on those areas. If you think you are weak in English grammar, enroll in a grammar class or buy a good grammar book and beat it to death. Nothing can replace hard work.
The fact that you have 1 1/2 yr absolutely helps.

I applaud your foresight in preparing far in advance!

I agree that taking a practice test is a good way to identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Thats a lot of time, good for you!

1) Try reading very good newspapers and magazines- economist.com, businessweek.com
2) If you are worried about your grammar/idioms, try gettting a good grammar book and reading it thru chapters - make notes - refer with internet after each grammar lesson.
3) There are some techniques for 'speed reading' - you can search the web and improve you RC skills.

PS: It has been a while I wrote GMAT, so pls take this advice with a pinch of salt... :wink:
