Try the Manhattan GMAT math guides; it've heard good comments about them

By the way, a score of 35 on MATH means more than knowing just the basics !

Some people start with a high school math book. That's an effective way to learn the basics.

Thanks guys. I need to learn my geometry better and some other aspects. I pretty much know all the basics but I need practice with those basics. Like probability questions, I can do the very basic ones, but if I wanted to try harder ones, where do I find those kinds of questions?

BTW, do you think with me having a 35 in quant I can reach the 45 level?

Hi guys,

Hypothetical question. Lets say someone knows absolutely nothing about math but wants to learn enough for the GMAT, not only a refresher but actually learning the math from the most basics to the most complicated, where do they start?

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I feel like I know only the very basics (hence my 35 quant score), and I just want to know what resources I can turn to in order to learn everything I need in order to get the ball rolling. I am particularly very weak in geometry and only know the very basics of that. I dont want just a quick overview on the math topics covered on the GMAT but an indepth explanation. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try the Manhattan books. They have good explanations.
