I am just starting to study for the GMAT and read in the forums that the GMAC and
Experts Global mocks were the best to get a sense of progress. So, I took one of each and ended up with a 680 (Q46 V38) on the GMAC one and 670 (Q46 V36) on the
Experts Global one. I have purchased a year of
Magoosh as well as the question solver from
MGMAT. I also have access to all 15 of the
Experts Global mocks.
I have a couple of questions:
1. What should my next steps be? Currently, I made a list of 4-5 weak areas in each Quant and Verbal and am watching the corresponding
Experts Global GMAT Shots and lessons from
Magoosh and drilling with questions from
Magoosh and
MGMAT. Is there anything above this I should be doing?
2. For those with experience with
Experts Global's mocks - are their quant questions slightly harder than the actual GMAT? While I got the same score, I felt the EG ones were trickier and was wondering if others had a similar experience.
3. For people in a similar score neighborhood as me - what did you do and how did you end up? I am more or less comfortable with where I am but would like to be around the 720-730 range before I sign up for the actual test. I want to improve quant by 1 or 2 and my verbal by 2 or 3, ideally.
Lastly, any general suggestions from GMAT-experienced folks?
Thank you!
