Hi!
I've been reading a lot for the past few weeks about which books to get and seen some study plans online. I also took a Kaplan Test (the
one that is free) and scored a 620. I've read these scores are not very reliable, so I am hoping I am a litte bit closer to 630-650. Anyway, my aim is at least a 720.
I have a lot of time, since I don't plan on applying until a year or so to BS.
My question is:
for a standard 2 hour study session, what do you do? What I do is that I skim the
MGMAT guide and answer the problems. After I'm done with the guide (at most 3-4 days, since I keep notes), I do ALL of the OG problems (both the OG and the Quant OG review book) suggested in the
MGMAT guide. They are close to 160 per guide...so we are talking about 5 hours at least...so that's another additional 5 days just to finish 1
MGMAT Guide.. (close to week and a half). At this rate, I will finish math in 2 months! Is that normal? I review each and every problem and keep an
error log.
I am finding this to take longer than I thought. I've seen most study plans dedicate 4 weeks to math and 4 weeks to verbal and then 4 weeks to practice exams.
How many problems from the OG's do you do per day? How are your study sessions structured?I am trying to find more realistic goals!
Thanks and this is my first post :D some kudos will be appreciated
