Hi yashsingh99.
The very first few questions you see on the Quant or Verbal section of the GMAT are medium questions. So, if you were to miss some of those, you'd drop difficulty of the questions you see to the easy level, and if you were to then miss an easy question, you would significantly impair your ability to achieve high score. You'd have to get all of the remaining questions on the section correct to get a reasonably high score, and you would not be able to get a very high score.
That said, if you don't miss questions among the very first few but miss a few of the first ten questions, you won't totally ruin your chances of getting a high score as long as you don't miss multiple questions in a row and drive down the difficulty significantly. You'll have a hole to dig out of, but you can still score pretty high.
