Thanks Mohater, some great tips there! Really appreciate it. I just phoned my centre and they said ear plugs are provided as long as you request them, which is cool.

Nonameee, I guess I could take my laptop to Starbucks and do a prep test there :-D . But I would probably drive myself mad.

Thanks BB, knowing how the test centre is potentially set up really puts me at ease. That youtube video is also pretty useful.

On a slight side note, I wear contact lenses and they can dry my eyes out quite quickly when staring at a computer screen for a certain amount of time. Do you think the test centre will allow me to use plain eye drops during the test or should I get FBI approval (a little tongue in cheek :-D )?

I would call and double check - can never assume anything with GMAC or TSA

Ah yes, good point BB. I'll give them a call again. How did I manage to forget the 'do not assume' rule regarding GMAT/GMAC issues...maybe I should give myself a break from doing all these Qs

:) Frankly I don't see why they would not, but checking never hurts....
Worst case scenario, they can be waiting for you in your locker and the longest time you will be away is 75 mins (since you get 2 breaks)
