You can try to call the IT help desk, but they are not very helpful. They just created a case# and that's it. I am still waiting for "someone" in their office could input my information into their database.

Anyone successfully activate the NYU stern netID account? I can only activate nyu netID.

i see 266 admits in the system so far

my stats:
GPA: 3.8 from UCLA
GMAT: 580 (AWA 6.0 IR 8.0)
WE: 4 years in advertising industry
great reco, great essays - wrote an essay for question #3, great extracurricular activities
applied 5/15, accepted 6/18

I got interviewed 2 wks ago, and got notified today that I am on the waitlist.

I guess, part of reason is that I didn't perform well in the interview since I was under-prepared.

Profile wise: 14 years working experience in Fortune 500, GMAT: 650, GPA: 3.2. International Background.

I wonder whether I should do something now to strengthen my application, or just wait. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you have suggestions how to get a second interview chance?

I got a waitlist notice from Stern Part-Time (Fall 2013 Enrollment) yesterday. I am trying to figure out what options are at this time.

A far as submitting additional/update information, I wonder if it would be appropriate to submit a 3rd letter of recommendation and some details discussing large projects I have taken on since applying.

Does anyone have any tips/advice for someone in my shoes?

"The Login and Password does not match one on File." Any insights?

I got the same error. Gonna call them tomorrow morning to see what's going on!

I got confirmation that Kroll had begun my process by the 21st of June, and they have still not confirmed yet. They certainly like to take their time...

They emailed me a couple of times asking for paystub, employer phone number, diploma etc. Really slow....

Hey Fugui,

I dont know if NYU instructs you to do this; however, I had been wait-listed for Georgetown, and they allowed for an additional essay and recommendation.

I would suggest that you provide another essay to follow up on whatever has changed since you submitted your application, or something you may not have talked about during the application.

I just finished the interview for NYU.

Overall it went very well and was not too difficult.

I met with an adcomm member.

Questions were pretty standard, and it was stopped at exactly 30 minutes.
