CHICAGO GSB -

School has a better reputation for consulting recruitments.

Stern again has good recruitments in consulting but not as good as Chicago GSB.

Since the GSB doesn't have a leadership management specialization, I suggest you go to Stern.

Hi,

I need some advice in deciding which school I should join for my part time MBA.
I got through Stern and Chicago GSB.
I want to specilize in Strategy Management and Leadership Management.

One of the most important deciding factors for me would be job opportunities since I will be making a complete switch
from a techinical developer to a strategy analyst.

Could you please tell me which one I should go for?

Thanks,
AB

Hi AB,
Let me congratulate you first!!! Both are good schools... I heard for general consulting.. Chicago GSB is good.
If you are looking for finance.. obviously Stern is the best.

If I were you I would chose Chicago GSB. unless you like to live in NY city

I planning to apply for Chicago GSB or Stern for the part time in future. If you don't mind, could you please elaborate your background (experience.. GMAT score.. your roles in the previous projects ) .

Here is my profile.
B.Tech (chemical engg) Andhra University India ( ~78%) -- Not sure how to relate this to GPA
M.Tech (Chemical Engg) IIT Kanpur India. ( CPI .9.33/10.00) ~ 3.73/4.0
Experience: 7+ years in IT industry
WIPRO- 6 years (While leaving my role was Tech Lead)
US company -- 1.5 years( Analyst role -- Not a lead role)

India experience : 1.5 years.
US experience : 6 years.
From the above profile.. Please let me know what GMAT score is required?

Thanks in advance for yor help.
