I interviewed on Oct. 15th. I was asked for 3 questions and the interview finished in 15min. It that a bad sign? I haven't heard anything from Stern yet.

I applied before the September deadline. Was invited to interview three weeks ago. Interviewed on the 5th of November. My interviewer said it can take up to three weeks to get a final decision but I'm hoping I hear back by next week.

GMAT: 700 46Q 40V
Manager for top 4 telecommunications company. Want to transition into internal consulting for same company.

In all honesty, and this is just my opinion, I don't think the IR matters very much and probably was not the reason for your being wait listed. NYU's average GMAT for admitted part time students is 670. A 660 places you just under the the average. Based on your IR score, I'm going to assume you scored higher in verbal than in quant. If that's the case, that could have been it as well, but again, I'm just speculating.

I'd say take it again and shoot for 690-700 with a focus on the weaker section.

I submitted my application October 10th, got the status-check email on October 15th, and was accepted November 8th. Hope that helps.

I am planning to enroll in the part time MBA program at NYU for the academic year starting in 2015 and I am in the process of preparing my application for the same(GMAT,Recommendation letters and Essays etc...)
I have read in numerous blogs/websites and forums that NYU does not allow part time MBA students to participate in the on campus recruitment and that the OCR is strictly meant for Full time students.
Much as i would like not to believe so but I am looking to get some concrete information from a reliable source and therefore I am posting this topic in this forum.
Having been in the IT industry for over 10 years,I am now looking to completely switch career to a field that is non-technical and more of business oriented.
Can someone please advise if part time MBA is an appropriate medium to accomplish the goals that i have set for myself.
Can someone also please clarify the situation about the OCR for part time students.
