I'll try to explain based on the information above

consider the denonimator
4- (15^0.5)=k
so
(1/k)^2= 1/k^2

k^2= (a- b)^2=a^2 +b^2 -2ab= 4^2 +15 -8*(5^0.5)=31-8*(5^0.5)

based on the answers choices you can eliminate the root part of the denominator by multipling (31 + 8*(5^0.5))

hope it helps


Right on the money ugo, but you should change the 5 by 15.

same thing, (31 + 8sqrt15) / (961 - 960)=
31 + 8sqrt15
