Hi,
I don't know if this has been discussed elsewhere (at least, I could not find it) but I think it is fairly important for people like me who have a three year bachelor degree and a 2 year masters degree
Here in India, these qualifications and some more competitive exams would suffice for a PhD admission but not in US. I just received an email from one my target schools that
they DO NOT consider a 2 year full time Master's degree as a compensation for a three years bachelor.
By the way, this response has come from one of the top 10-15 B-School globally. I am not sure whether this is the norm. If it is then it implies end of my US PhD aspirations.
Has anyone received similar replies from his/her target institute/s? Thanks
