Hi.
I got a strange pattern on the paid GMATPrep test packs. Please review.:
1. 650(q47,v34); Q-15 incorrect, V- 17 incorrect
2. 690 (q47,v37); Q - 15 incorrect , V- 9 incorrect
3. 710 (q48,v40) ; Q - 15 incorrect , V- 9 incorrect
4. 650 (q48, V31) ; Q - 9 incorrect , V- 9 incorrect
These are all GMATPrep paid tests given in chronological order, within 2 weeks, no resetting, all first time attempts.
Progression from 1st to 3rd is understandable, but what I don't get is that in the 4th test, when only 9 are incorrect in both Q & V, how can score be 650?
Even the 710 had 15 incorrect in Q.
Am I missing something here ?
Please help in understanding these.

The points discussed in detail are:
- The number of right/wrong answers is much less predictive than you think.
- Of the “ABCs” of Item Response Theory, Difficulty Level is Only One Element (B)…
- Question delivery values “content balance” more than you think.
- Some questions don’t count at all.
- Every test has a margin of error.

Thanks Karishma, it was the best article that addressed my concern.
I finally scored a 650 (Q49,V30);IR - 6 on the actual test. I know where to focus now
