I thought I would post this role for a Strategic Planning Analyst in case anyone here is looking for a fantastic pre-MBA job!! I mean heck, it got me into Kellogg.
Well, if you know anyone that has previous investment banking, strategy consulting (even at boutiques or small shops), or corporate development experience shoot me a PM and I'll send you (them) the link to submit their resume. The position reports directly to the Senior VP of Strategic Planning and will be involved in all aspects of Corporate M&A and long-range planning. Great visibility to the CEO and Board of Directors for a growing public company. Great perks (private jet travel and free suite tickets at sporting events) and outstanding benefits. Below I've listed a sampling of what we are looking for in a candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business or finance.
- Two to three years related experience is required, preferably in investment banking, private equity or strategic consulting. Previous corporate development experience considered. Experience with software or technology enabled services industries a plus.
- Ability to perform valuation and other financial analyses (including DCF, public/private comparables, accretion/dilution, etc.)
- Strong business acumen and ability to tackle complex business issues.
