Hi All,
I am applying this fall and hoping to land a strategy consulting job as my short term goal. I am currently working as a consulting for big-5 IT consulting so I know a bit about consulting but not much how things work in M/B/B type of firms. I have some idea but I wanted to know how and what exactly do associates do in Telecom, Media and Technology groups of these consulting firms. If possible, what kind of work do they do when working with M&As.
I thought I could get some insight from current students and alums who have interned/working full time with strategy consulting. I am trying to get as much concrete information to show that I have done my home work.
Any help will be appreciated.
