Hi all,
I gave my first GMAT in Nov 05, scored 580 (feel completely cheated of the time, effort and ofcourse the score!!!, didnt get this score in pratcice tests).Gave this while i was working full time. Anyways, have decided to give it one more try - plan to retake in Dec 06.
I am in process of planning for the second attempt: strategy/ study plan. Thought to share it with the forum, to have suggestions.
1. Jot down points of improvements : Speed, accuracy, weak section, strong section but need some improvement, etc
2. Take a diagnostic test - for score benchmark and current level. Identify points of improvement.
3. Brush up types of questions, maths basics, english basics, tips/tricks to solve PS/DS/CR/RC/SC from Kaplan & Princeton
4. Complete 11ed OG in 2.5 weeks - design test type chunks ( a mix of sc/rc/cr/ds/ps ) for continous 3hr study schedule. Read errors and maintain log.
5. Kaplan test 1
6. For verbal : complete Kaplan verbal book, SC 1000, CR 1000
For quant : I need to find out the material which could help me give more practice. ( need help here )
7. Plan to give one complete test every weekend to start wth kaplan, followed by princeton, followed by powerprep.
