Where I Am, and Why I'm Asking for Help
I'm 23, based in Kolkata, and for the past three to four months GMAT prep has been the center of my life. I'm not writing this because I'm out of effort — I'm writing this because I've put in a lot of effort and I've reached a point where I can't tell anymore whether I need to push harder, push differently, or just trust the process I already have. I'd rather ask someone who's actually walked this road than guess alone.
What I've done so far
Official Mock 1: 715 total (99th percentile) — Data Insights 86 (99th), Quant 88 (96th), Verbal 83 (83rd)
Official Mock 2: 685 total (96th percentile) — Data Insights 85 (98th), Quant 86 (91st), Verbal 81 (66th)
On the second mock, I know exactly where the points slipped: a couple of avoidable mistakes in Quant (I should have been at 19/21 correct instead of 17/21), and a couple of Critical Reasoning questions in Verbal that I know I can get right — I can see, looking back, why I picked what I picked. These weren't gaps in understanding. They were execution slips under time pressure, and I believe I can correct them.
Target score: 755+
Exam date: 15th of next month — roughly four weeks from today.
Where I'm stuck
Quant and Data Insights are strong — consistently 90s+ percentile. Verbal, especially Reading Comprehension and time management across a 23-question section, is where things get hard for me. I know what the problem generally is: time discipline in Verbal, and to a lesser extent in Data Insights. What I don't have a clean read on is how to turn "I know the pattern exists" into "I've fixed it," especially because the GMAT is adaptive — I can't just say "I'm weak at inference questions," because the same session has me getting a hard inference question right and a medium one wrong. It doesn't map cleanly onto a single topic. It's more textured than that, and after months of self-study, I've hit a point where I can't tell if I'm seeing my own blind spots clearly anymore.
My plan for the next four weeks
I'd like to connect with someone who has actually taken people from this stage — solid Quant and DI, a Verbal timing ceiling, roughly a month out — to a 750+ finish. I'm not looking for someone to re-teach me content I already know. I'm looking for a second, sharper pair of eyes on my error patterns and my remaining month, and honestly, someone to talk this through with — because after three months of doing this largely alone, that matters too.
If you've been through this or coached someone through it, I'd genuinely appreciate your time.

- Worked through the full Official Guide bundle plus the separate OG books — over 2,000 official questions solved and reviewed, with a record of what I got right and wrong.
- Given two full-length official GMAT Focus mocks.
- Practiced consistently for months, in structured cycles, including timed group study sessions with study partners who are prepping alongside me.
- Built my own tools along the way to track errors and study systematically — I didn't just grind blindly, I tried to build a system around the grinding.

- Two more official mocks, spaced out, used for real diagnosis rather than just a score check.
- Focused, timed practice specifically on Verbal (RC and CR) and DI timing, since that's where the real ceiling is right now.
- Maintaining my Quant strength rather than letting it slide while I focus elsewhere.
