Actually I change my asnwer to E  ..I know I can't do that on the GMAT but after looking it over I think I chose too quickly....

A - Not supported
B- can't say this because nicotine kills anitbodies
C-Not supported
D-Not supported
E-If nicotine kills antibodies but bacteria causing gum disease is resistant to nicotine that all a person has to rely on is their antibodies.

Damn I change it to (E) now. The last part of (B) cannot be concluded.

"E" for me......nonsmokers r still taken care of by antibodies, so only "E" can be concluded.
