Re: Study Plan Q&A Chat [#permalink]
Hi everyone,
I am Manas Mendiratta, retired ex armed forces from Naval Aviation. I have been in my MBA admissions journey since the last 02 years. I am re-attempting the process again this year, starting very soon. Although I have taken the Classic GMAT and scored a 710, I wish to apply with the Focus GMAT score this time.

Last year after buddying up with an excellent study mate, I realised the benefits each one of us had. I am looking for like minded study buddy. My GMAT target test date is August End 2024. Targeting Round 1s of Indian, European, Singapore, and Australian B-schools.

Hi, I am Ex armed forces. Gave my gmat on 06th june after 3 months study and two mocks. I had completed TTP course thoroughly before this. Did not get a good score. Want to make a study group with people *Who have already given one attempt* we can discuss and improve upon our shortcomings and help each other.

Please DM
Thanks.

Great idea. Sorry about TTP not working out…. I would see where the miss was. I’m not saying that no one has ever flunked the test with TTP or Manhattan or any other course but usually it’s super helpful to understand why it did not work so you can make adjustments before you gear up for another retake

Common Reasons for not hitting your target score may be covering material but not really absorbing it. Everyone has their own pace and usually the productive pace is a lot slower than what we think…

Also, Reviewing which you’ve learned from yesterday and last week is also very helpful for the GMAT because you have to pack your head with so much material. You cannot count that whatever you study the week or a month ago is still there…. You have to keep it and making sure those memory blocks are active and heaven lost their data.

Hi bb, can you suggest any good techniques to review our learnings of past weeks/months, specially in Verbal section. Lets say that we covered some material, made notes and then we practice many questions in a week. So revisiting our each mistakes/error log will be a big task. pls suggest any expert post also if available on this topic
