Hey guys! How do we best practice for Data Insights (I am fine with DS) such as MSR and Two-part using GMAC Official Questions? I feel like I could practice these questions untimed but then it may create a habit of "practice under no pressure", which may be bad for me once I am a real test scenario. What did you guys do? Any tip is appreciated. Similar question to Reading Comprehension practice questions, do we just choose ALL questions under reading comprehension and then practice? For RC and MSR, I think it is hard to just pick one question to practice since one RC passage or MSR has more than questions in real tests. Thanks!
I would say you definitely want to practice and measure your time. Maybe at the beginning you don’t enforce strict time standards but you should be trying to solve things knowing that the timer is running somewhere and responding to an email in the middle of your data insights or reading comprehension question is not a good idea.
Data Insights is generally easy if there’s no time pressure. There are absolutely hard probability and other questions but I’m talking about generally table and graph and similar questions.
There are very few data insights questions, so treasure them and make sure you keep good track of your mistakes. Do you want to never repeat the same mistake again basically.

Which one? I have Gmat Official guide 2023-2024
Got ya. If you already have them
Manhattan books, that’s all really you need plus the official guide.
Do you want to aim to go through all of the
Manhattan books in about 2 1/2 months. Maybe three.
Divide and build a little calendar with which topics you want to cover which days. Everyone finds their pace to be a little different.
Your pace will be determined by how rusty you are and how much improvement you need. You may be blazing through critical reasoning or your blazing through the math component. But ultimately those books are designed to be used in 10 weeks or 12 weeks.
as you go through the books, make sure you are constantly thinking how to improve your performance and how to improve retention of the material so you don’t just cover the book as you read it before bed and you fall asleep and you forget everything but I think about best ways toremember and the material. Take little 5 to 10 question quizzes daily after each chapter and each section you have covered.
if you’re not doing well in a section, don’t just move on hoping that it will improve automatically but keep digging in and figuring out why I did not work. You don’t want to have a bunch of of these gaps when you’re done studying. It’s better to deal with each gap right away unless it becomes really stubborn and then you can leave that one for later but in general, leave no gaps behind .
there’s not much of material or strategies for data insights at this time. We have a YouTube series of five videos and that seems to be the most capable resource of this time
