I figured I would give an update if there is anyone out there who had a similar experience to me, and may be able to provide some guidance:

After starting Verbal (studied for the last 1-2 weeks) I took my second GMAT Prep mock two days ago, and scored a 740 (Q49, V42).
During my test, I stupidly panicked and got stuck on a few problems in both sections (and wouldn't them go): leading me to guess on the last 3-5 questions in both sections. However, I am very pleased with my improvement from V35 to V42 after such a short time. So far for Verbal I have only studied SC, since, as I mentioned before, it appears to be my biggest weakness. For CR, I am wondering if it is even worth studying as I have only had 1 incorrect CR on both GMAT Prep mocks.

My main concern is finding the best way to balance my verbal / quant studying, without much time left until my exam. I still need to sharpen my Quant skills and work on a few lacking areas, but given my rapid progress with Verbal I am stressed out about finding the best way to allocate my time right now. My online test is scheduled for August 15, and my target score is 760. Any suggestions for a study plan? I am currently working full time, and taking online summer classes to get ahead for my senior year. I have been waking up really early to study for the past few months, and generally get in about 2-3 hours/day on weekdays, and 3-5 hours/day on weekends.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey!

As you have just about 20 days, or even less, try to dedicate equal amount of time to quant and verbal. Make sure you practice a few questions daily on quant. For Verbal, make sure you practice a few questions from each module SC, CR and RC daily. Just because you got only 1 incorrect on CR, do not neglect it. Give equal importance to all the topics.

Take two mocks before your actual test and work on the weaker areas. All the best!
