Hi LEOLUCCIOLA,

Since it's been over 5 months since you took your 3rd Official GMAT, it's likely that your overall skills have 'faded' a bit - and that V44 is likely a bit 'inflated' (especially if you saw any questions that you had already faced when you took that CAT/mock before).

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Now I am focusing only on doing official OG questions (I haven't done this in my previous prep - apart from the official mocks -- and feel this was an opportunity to improve). I am reviewing areas as I have trouble and going an overall review (quant focused)

Studies:
1) How long did you study for your 3rd attempt? How many hours did you typically study each week?

I studied for 7 months roughly and 4 months with Target Test Prep (from December 2022 on). I studied ~250 hours and finished ~50% of the course

2) What study materials have you used so far over the course of ALL of your studies? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?

I have used Total GMAT Quant and all Official Mocks. Now I am using the 2022 OG with the online question bank. I have retaken the 1st mock and considering retaking the other ones or signing for Experts Global.

3) Prior to your 3rd attempt, on what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Please see the images attached. It is really surprising to me how my quant score has oscillated. Mocks 3 and 4 were really good. All these results I shared were my 1st time taking these mocks

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
700+ I need to improve at least 40 points. I am really confident on my verbal and think I have space to improve there. I just need to keep my quant score or, even better, improve slightly

5) What Schools are you planning to apply to - and what application deadlines are you facing?
INSEAD, GSB, HBS, Kellog, Columbia, Booth, Wharton, Yale (perhaps some other among top 20)

While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). You can feel free to PM it directly to me if you prefer not to publicly post it - and I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Hi LEOLUCCIOLA,

I see that you have been using TTP. Would you be able to complete the remainder of the course prior to a retake?

Hi LEOLUCCIOLA,

Hi Scott, I am having a hard time deciding which resource I use. I haven't done as many OG questions as I think I should, as I have been focusing on doing TTP questions. Also, I bought experts' global mock exams so that I can have the experience of test-taking.

That being said, I am unsure whether I would be able to do OG questions, do mock exams, finish TTP course and do TTP questions all in 1 or 1.5 month. That's why I asked for advice on a retake strategy and didn't buy TTP for 1 additional month yet. Do you think focusing on finishing TTP (instead of doing OG questions and mock exams) would be enough? Would you recommend pursuing all of these strategies?

Thanks!
