I have arco's 06 mastering the gmat, what is the best way to start preparing for gmat , finish one section of sc, reading or finish quantative section completely.
Do I need to buy any more books Og or mgmat books. I need good books for quantative and for SC.

I haven't seen too many good reviews for that book. I would use 1) Official Guide, 11th edition; 2) GMATPrep official tests (do these before the OG because there's a little bit of question overlap); and 3) Cracking the GMAT from Princeton Review. The PR book is a must for properly understanding the test and nailing down strategy. The official materials have no strategy, because GMAC likes to tell people the test isn't coachable. 
These should be your starter books. Work through them and then see where you need to go.
