I'd like some advice on what a good study plan should be for the last week before the GMAT exam. I have been doing self-prep for about 2 months now. I've been working + studying, so have just been able to spend 2hrs/day studying for the GMAT. I've now taken a week off from work to help me prep better and allow me to get into "the zone" for GMAT.
I've scored a respectable 730 in my last 2 GMAT Prep tests with a pretty consistent Q/V breakdown.
GMATPrep Exam 1 - 660 (q46, v 35) - Diagnostic - 2 months ago
GMATPrep Exam 2 - 730 (q49, v 41) - 10 days ago
GMATPrep Exam 3 - 730 (q49, v40) - yesterday
My concern is that I took these exams 10 days apart and have seen zero improvement in either section, in fact, there's been a slight decline in my verbal RAW score. Since I now have a few days time to prepare, I'd like to get some advice on what my game plan for this week must be. I have one more GMATPrep test that I'm planning to take 3 days before D-day. I've already covered all the material from
OG 12, Official Quant Review 2e and Official Verbal Review 2e. I've done all the 90 practise questions provided in the GMATPrep software.
Should I just spend time reviewing all the mistakes I've made with the
OG problems (I do have an
error log) or should I be trying to solve questions of higher difficulty from GMATClub and other sources so that I can sharpen my existing Q/V skills? I come from an applicant pool where Q50/51 is pretty common (Indian applicant-Engineering background), should I be concerned about my Quant score - is there anyway I can get from q49 to q50/q51 in a week?
I'm not looking to necessarily improve on my score, but what I
do want is to be consistent with my performance and ensure that I get a good score on the actual GMAT exam as well.
Any advice/pointers on a 1-week study plan would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
