Hi all. I gave GMAT on 1st Oct and scored 640(Q49, V28, IR6 AWA 5). I wish to apply for an MSc in Finance and thus will be retaking the GMAT in the last week of November’19. I need to improve my quant to 50/51 and verbal by at least 8-9 points.
Following are the sources I used during my first attempt:-
1.
OG 2020 ( including verbal and quant review 2020)
2.
Experts Global 15 full length tests( used 10 of them)
3. Official GMAT 2 full length tests
I am in search of good verbal materials that can help me in boosting my score. I especially need to work on SC because I think that brought my score down in my first attempt. I also need a good quant question bank so that I can keep practising a variety of quant questions for a month.
Please advise some good resources since I have roughly around a month to reappear and I work full time 5 days a week.
Is
e-gmat value for money? I saw the Verbal course is around $200 which is quite expensive. Please suggest!
Posted from my mobile deviceYou score of V28 suggests that have you conceptual gaps in your understanding of the Verbal topics. So, considering that you have just around 40 to 50 days to retake GMAT, I recommend that you quickly subscribe a course of any GMAT preparation company because OGs and the other study material, which are all mock tests, that you have are not sufficient to help you learn concepts and their application.
For your Verbal, as well as Quants preparation, I highly recommend
e-GMAT.
Feel free to ask anything more.
All the best.
