I have been styding for more then 3 years on and off, I have gotten private tutoring from the best companies, enrolled to veritas, MGMT etc... I have had no luck on the gmat. One thing that I always have done is study on and off. I have never been consistent with my study which is what I am attributing my failure in gmat.
I have 1.5 months of full study time (all day) and want to get this thing over with. I have the mgmt books, vertias books.
I took the gmat almost a year a go, 550, (42q and 24v). As you can see I have a lot of work to do in verbal, and also quant. I want to get at least a 650 and apply in second round this year or early next year.
So I only have october and november to get the gmat done and them focus on applications.
I feel that studying for 5 hours in the morning, followed by a two hour break and then study another 4 hours or so will do the trick in 45 days.
I started this past monday and have read the CR powerscore bible book, the word problem book from mgmt and tomorrow I plan to read the algebra and number properties book from mgmt. Afterwards take the diagnostics exam from gmat club
gmat-diagnostic-test-quest-for-best-gmat-diagnostic-test-79502.html#p597465 and see where I need to foucs my time.
I think quant wont be as hard to get it to 48 as increase verbal from 24 to 35 or something like that.
I have literally tried everything expect studying full time for more then a month, so that is my plan.

Hi oloman,
I'm hoping that you can answer a few questions about your studies and overall timeline/plans:
1) From your post, it sounds like you've already put in some study time. How long have you studied? What work have you done so far?
2) Is there a reason why you're limiting yourself to just 1.5 months of additional study?
3) What is your score goal?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
