When I study through the manhattan gmat guides it seems as though I understand the material but then when I take the practice tests there is a disconnect. To me it seems as though the material is different from what I see on the tests.

does anyone have any study strategies to combat this so there is no disconnect from the studymaterial & tests..

Does anyone have a straegy that was successful in studying & memorizing the material & translat to good scores?

My only suggestion would be to do more problems, whether it from OG or in action problems from the MGMAT set. I have noticed, maybe its just me, the more problems I do the easier it seems for me to understand what the problem is asking. The GMAT uses some specific wording and the sooner you get used to those wordings the better off you'll be.
