For context, I'm applying to various MS in Business Analytics/ Marketing Science programs which are all very selective (e.g. Duke MQM, UCLA MSBA), which all emphasize the importance of quantitative skills. My first score was a 665 with 91 percentile in Quant, and the 2nd test was 685 with only 76 percentile. Verbal reasoning and data insights were both in the high 90s which brought up the overall score.
Hi marysmha,

From what I've seen, most schools generally don't actually care about quant as a separate section. A very low score may be a red flag, but we're talking about Q82 (76%) here, which isn't likely to be seen as a weakness.

Go with the higher total score (685). You could also reach out directly to your target schools and ask them what they think about this particular situation.

Hi marysmha,

I agree that sending your highest score of 685 is a good call. I don't think having a lower quant score will be a big deal for you.
