I submitted my applications to 5 schools, Wharton, MIT, Harvard, NYU and Columbia within the R2 deadline.
My GMAT score that I submitted was 680 (68% math, 89% verbal). However, I retook the exam today and got a 770 today (86% math, 99% verbal).
Given the big difference, do I e-mail the admissions offices the new score (with unoffical score attachment) as an fyi?
With a few interview decisions coming this week, I doubt it would make an impact, but can it hurt me by sending? Are there any other alternatives?

You may want to ask this in the admissions consultants forum as well. My unofficial answer is: most schools will only consider the information submitted with the application. It may be something you may somehow justify submitting or at least show your commitment but most schools don't consider this a fair play.

Thank you for the reply. That's the issue I'm concerned with, whether schools will not consider it fair play, and take it negatively. I just posted in the consultants forum as well. Thank you.
