I submitted my Round 1 application close to a month ago with a not so great GMAT score. They allowed me to take a retake by November 12th, I retook it two days ago and scored roughly the same (100 points below my consistent MBAdotcom practice test). I seriously doubt this score will get me admitted. I want to postpone my application to Round 2, but I fear that I may not be able to do this. Although I submitted Round 1, what are the odds I would be able to switch to Round 2? Could I resubmit another full application for Round 2? I emailed admissions yesterday and have not heard back yet. Any help would be hugely appreciated, I am freaking out.

If you get a decision for R1, you won't be able to apply in R2.
However, you may be able to ask to shift to R2 due to the GMAT score. it is not normal but nothing this year is really normal.... I guess part of the question is why you decided to apply with a sub-optimal score. Was the school encouraging you to?

I think if you have emailed them regarding round 2, they can easily shift your application. Do not worry. You will definitely get admit in colleges. GMAT is important but your profile is also very important. I would suggest do not freak out rather study for GMAT again if you want to.
