Suffolk claimed in their email to me that their average MSF class salary is $75,000. Could it be true? And does anyone have any first hand insight into the MSF program at Suffolk?

I would imagine these figures are being inflated because of the PT and Online students being currently employed and having years of experience. I am willing to be their average number of years work experience is greater than 2 years.

Boston has a number of MSF programs in downtown that punch above their weight because of their location. I can't really think of another city that has as many MSF's as Boston. As for their salary claim, I am sure it is accurate, but I would not expect to land a job paying $75-80K from their MSF without some prior experience.

That’s a pretty good insight. What do you think of the program at Suffolk personally? Is it worth it?

Suffolk falls into the category of MSF programs that have value depending on individual circumstances. Suffolk will be a fine program if you absolutely want to work in Boston, are OK with a wide variety of finance/business job outcomes (including back office) and if it is affordable. All these programs will give you an enhanced education, the schools brand reputation, access to an alumni network and a graduate degree. Up to you to decide if the Suffolk brand and alumni network will help you get where you need to be.
