Hey guys -
I'll be ready to submit my app. for Wharton by Oct.7th. However, keeping in mind that the deadline for R1 is Oct.9th is it better to apply in R2? I read on W's website: 'apply early in the cycle. Do not wait till the deadline'.

Is it wise to apply at the end of R1 cycle or shud I wait for R2?

If you are ready to submit Oct 7th, go ahead and apply R1. Wharton is probably advising you to do it earlier than the deadline so you don't have problems due to an overloaded server towards deadline day.

The advice I was given is to apply early. Although there is no difference in your chances between R1 and R2, if you apply in R1 you will be notified earlier, which can be very helpful when applying for scholarships, looking for housing, etc. So, since you've done all the hard work I'd say submit it and hope for the best! Best of luck.
