Hey bsch thanks for your advice, i shortened my post to be more specific.

I opted out Harvard, Stanford because they are just too elite schools, too hard to get into and might be complicated to get along.

Thanks GoBruins for your suggestions, i didnt knew MBB actually posted the list of schools they visit, thats great. Reg the 2 point Yes i checked the individual schools recritment, and out of Wharton, Columbia they prefer Wharton as Columbia is more Finance Oriented.

Reg 3rd point Yes you are spot on, and thanks for telling that i didnt knew class sizes of Haas, Tuck are 1/4 of HBS, CBS. I feel such heavily crowded classes more like markets, where there is no proper attention between the teacher and student.

How about Ross, i "read" its better than Hass for Consulting ?, What is your opinion on it.

Also i heard great things about a career in Finance but i feel it would be foolish of me to spend so much hard earned money just following some mba program which everybody is running to, and ending up disappointed if i am not suited for it, i dont know maybe its the same about consulting but atleast i can make informed decisions. Thanks for your replies, they throw more light on my murky situation.

Haas is an odd situation, they pride themselves on having Consulting and finance and neither of their top 2 fields. So in that respect they probably have less members that end up in consulting than ross, but that being said, Haas has a higher concentration of Tech/Entreprenuals who weren't planning on going into consulting in the first place. You have small number of recruits but also small number of applicants.

I think Kellogg send more hires to McKinsey than any other school. Cannot remember where I heard that.
