Hello guys,
I'm Federico, from Florence. I'm heading over to taking GMAT in 4/5 months and I found your forum while navigating on internet.
First of all, I read few topics and I found them really interesting and helpful to me. They avoided some mistakes I was going to do.
I tried to find a topic which is a bit similar to my issues but I haven't found it so here I am to ask you some help and some suggestions.
I am actually working so preparing GMAT is a bit harder than when I was only a student but I need to take this test because I would like to apply for a MBA class. I haven't chosen the short list of MBA faculties but I would like to reach a very good GMAT score to have the chance to go into a top school (so I'm aiming to 680/700).
As I told you, since I work for 9/10 hours a day it is not so easy to find time to prepare GMAT properly. As a consequence, I am a bit uncertain on which book/online course I need to buy. First of all I ordered on Amazon
MGMAT bundle but, unfortunately, the 6th edition is not yet available in Europe. So, meanwhile I'm waiting it I am wondering which online class I could take and if I should take at least one book on quant to start to study GMAT. Can anyone suggest me a second choice, still helpful, quant book? Should I buy meanwhile the 5th edition of
MGMAT Quant book? Or do you have other options to suggest?
I have visited some links found on this forum (GMAT Pill and e-GMAT) and during these days I have tried the Economist class as well.
I would like to ask you some suggestions on which of these online-courses may be shaped for me.
I noticed that GMAT Pill is an online class with videos and I am wondering if this kind of teaching may be helpful. I think it has lots of questions but I'm wondering if it provides also explanations on questions. For example, Economist GMAT Tutor explains every step and take me by hand as a baby through GMAT
Unfortunately The Economist GMAT Tutor costs really a lot compared to its competitors and I don't know if it is worth the money (it still a class which has an expiration depending on the price of the plan).
Finally, I would like to have a very flexible course which can be taken through smartphone, tablet or desktop so I can follow it everywhere I am.
Do you have any suggestion to make?
Thank you so much!
