Just took GMAT, 670 (Q48, V34). Very disappointed since I scored between 730-770 on GMAT prep cats and other cats from Knewton and
MGMAT.
Planning to apply for 2011 accounting PHD
3.9 GPA - Econ, undergraduate, a foreign university
3.3 GPA - MBA, finance, Cal State University --- didn't study too much during MBA program since soon after starting MBA, I found it was not my cup of tea (too general and broad, I like something concrete)
No research/teaching experience
10 years of accounting experience (6 years audit, 2 years controllership in private industry)
Since it is so late, shall I still apply for 2011 academic year (application deadlines are around 1/15/2011). If apply for 2011, there will be not enough time to re-take GMAT. If I am rejected, will the rejection affect 2012 application to the same school, assuming that I re-take GMAT and score over 700?
Or, shall I re-take GMAT first and waite for another year to apply?
