Hi ankykool,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as hoped. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. Before we can discuss how best to proceed with your studies, I'd like to know a bit more about the work that you've done so far and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) In a prior post, you mentioned that your Score Goal was 550. Is that still the case?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi there,

First of, it is not that bad score. GMAT is a difficult journey for most of the students and don't get misguided when someone says I cracked the exam in the first attempt with a 700+. It's a long race that can be win not only by hard work but also with some smart work. Start your preparation from GMAT club Quant and Verbal directories in increasing order of difficulty level. Download GMAT Club Quant book. From 300 to at least 600 may take good enough time. Follow GMAT experts to receive important inputs.

Start from here:

You can also enroll for any good course be it online or in classroom.

Magoosh, e-gmat, Veritas are good ones IMO.
