Is this the first week of summer internships?

I see a lot of young professionals in suits looking confused in the streets, carrying Pierce & Pierce duffel bags with name tags that read, "Joe Schmo - Dartmouth."

They're too old to be analysts.

Stop one of them and say this with authority "Hey! The CFO's been looking for you. You'd better get back and see what's going on!"

True, we (hopefully) will be in that situation. But at the same time, we don't have to look as out-of-place as we actually are. Hasn't anyone here ever faked their way through something?

I made up a book in the 8th grade so I could give an oral book report or I would have gotten in trouble. Best experience in my life. I learned 1) I am actually pretty good at telling a story, maybe I should be an author and 2) Be more prepared. My heart was pounding the entire time thinking the teacher would figure it out. Especially since a girl in the class knew I made it up and kept asking questions about the story!!!

That sounds like an ethical dilemma. You should write an essay about how you failed to make the ethical decision... :wink:

I was 14. The ethical dilemma in my mind was "Make this up and get a grade, or explain to my mother why I failed for weeks to do a book report I had known was coming due. If you knew my mother, you'd understand it wasn't much of a difficult decision ;)
