Been a minute, spoke to our beloved leader about this and wanted to see if there's interest in this:
I've helped a number of people on my own reach his/her goals for GMAT as well as B school application. I've been able to gather certain key insights, and one main theme: most people need very specific, limited help to level set and reach his/her goals. The pricing for this type of service tends to be very high for most of the major MBA admission consultants, the goal of these firms is to push you to the higher more value add services. Setting the floor high for lower engagement services will often drive consumers to the higher services, as you get a lot more bang for your buck. I believe there's an opportunity to offer those who are close in their application process, but needs those final touches and enhancements to achieve his/her goals.
I'd like to beta test this service again to see if this is something worth doing and scaling through the GMATClub community. Below is a link to a survey, I'd appreciate as many responses to the survey, and also if you're interested in receiving this service, please fill in the bottom with your email and I'll reach out.
Pricing would be communicated to interested parties and would reflect the nature. The survey would help assess pricing for an ongoing basis if this product were to be launched.
Tentative list of included services:
-Profile evaluation (elevator pitch/resume, odyssey, GMAT, application school list)
-Resume review/revise
-Top 3 school application review (all requirements for school)
I've found holding to this helps applicants focus on the important things, as different schools have different cultures and needs for admissions, and meeting these needs is an investment in of itself (both time and money). Focusing helps the applicant level set and set clear timelines and goals to reach.
