I'd like to direct your attention to the reviews on this website to the various reviews for different GMAT tutoring courses.
https://gmatclub.com/reviews/gmat_courses/Not a single prep company has a rating lower than 4.5 stars, which is a 90% score. Are reviews rigged somehow? I find it extremely hard to believe that they're all this good.
You can see this discussion for details:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-club-re ... 09438.htmlEach reviewer's identity is verified using of the methods we rely on and you can see how each was verified on each review.
P.S. As to high scores - I agree, there seems to be a disproportionate number of positive reviews but there is not much I can do.... perhaps I can post some fake negatives ones? Fake negatives, are OK, right?

thanks for the response beebz
this isn't a feature unique to gmatclub. all review websites have given the various gmat tutors virtually all the same score- i suspect some sort of discount in place for customers if they leave a positive, verified review
I am not beebz - please do not be disrespectful.
As far as I know GMAT Club is the ONLY place that uses Verified GMAT Score reports to confirm reviews. I know it may seem like they are the same but a lot of places has reviews but not actually in any way verifies their reviewers.
p.s. as to incentives, I am not sure, but I know that companies do encourage, ask, and engage their customers to review their services, kind of like the apps in the Apple store do when a pop up comes up and asks you to rate them. It seems to be the way of life these days.
