Switched to business major with low previous GPA!! What do I do? 19 Dec 2014, 01:40

Okay, so I was previously a Biology major and science just isn't my thing. Unfortunately I realized that too late and although I was also taking some business courses in between that I received A's and B's in, (I was choosing between business and biology) my overall GPA is 2.8 due to the 4 science classes I took (2 C's [5 units each], 1 D [4 units], 1 B [4 units]) and this semester I took 13 units and got all A's in my business courses. I am a junior and will be graduating in Fall of 2016. How can I raise my GPA, will I be able to get into a business school in California? I want to stay near home and don't want to go to an out of state business school unless it's NYU. What are my outlooks as of now? Thanks in advance! :)

Well, just keeping on racking up those As, and that's basically what you can do. You may be able to drop a course or two with a bad grade, but I guess you'd have to speak to the registrar's office to figure that out.
