There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I applied R2, Do I have to disclose to AdComs if I switch jobs let's say Feb or March (i.e., right before my decision comes out and potentially while I'm interviewing?) If yes, will this impact me poorly?
I have the opportunity to work on a short-term gig helping a friend with his small consulting company - he does consulting for small businesses, it'd be great exposure for my future entrepreneurship goals and allow me to travel / live more flexible before i buckle down for MBA. The caveat is it may only be part-time, not sure if that looks bad.

Hi 3lleshaena ... I would recommend not to change the job just before the results and mention to adcoms. This will create questions and not going to help you anyway in the application. So, we should avoid things which aren't going to help. If you want to learn about entrepreneurship, you can help your friend in your free time and hope you can take this opportunity later. Once the interviews are done, you can switch. All the best.

If you have already applied, then you are free to do anything, especially if you have already interviewed. How will changing jobs now affect whatever decision awaits you? And I don't know why you have to discuss changing jobs with admissions officers when you have already applied. Don't miss on any opportunity because of MBA admissions worries. Live your life and enjoy whatever opportunities come.
You don’t have to disclose anything that happens after your submission date unless it is something like a criminal arraignment or sentencing at which point you have other things to worry about.
So you are free to change jobs but it is a bad move since you are potentially screwing your new employer. Unless they are aware of your bschool aspirations, you are going to burn that bridge with your new employer. Not sure what your circumstances are and why you are switching jobs (you may have absolutely right reasons for it) but the Bschool can consider it a dick move if they find out, unless you explain it. In any case, I would not bring it up. You are not obligated to.
