I've had a good level of success with the table construction method...it is time consuming at times, but I've never been very good at visualizing relationships in my head. Table construction allows me to see the relationships and the data right there on the paper.

MGMAT books have a great strategy for the table construction for all those types of questions.

I agree with kundozei. Constructing tables and charts during the GMAT consumes too much time and can confuse you. Use it only as a visual aid to understand concepts during your studies.

Fair advice. One point to consider: The solutions to GMAT questions (beyond 600 level) cannot be found mechanically. Every question would need ingenuity. You would have to think hard, consider different scenarios.. Every question would be new, something you would not have seen before no matter how many questions you do. And after solving the question, you will feel good about yourself that you could see 'the trick'. Your conceptual understanding will see you through... So don't rely on tables much.... Dissect the logic behind every step of every question to fully understand it and do well, not just in GMAT but also your MBA studies... Everything you learn right now, will come back to you at some point....
