DS is a prick to my quant score. I'm either too slow in solving the question (around 4 mins?) or I gave up because I couldn't solve it in time or I made careless mistakes.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks to tackling them? Or organizing your thoughts neatly so that you know right away which answer to choose?
My way to force myself to look at the statements individually is to work on Statement 2 first then Statement 1.
Hi pretzel,
DS really can twist your brain - but after you get used to this question type, it's a lot easier. Start by memorizing the answer choices and the logical steps you subconsciously go through in your analysis.
Here's what looks like a complicated diagram, but all of the logic happens within seconds inside your brain - but good to take note anyway.
The AD / BCE approach should be second nature after you know what you are doing.
