Hi All
I have taken GMAT for 5 times already still my score still at 590 for two times in a row. I planned to retake it again in the next three months. However, i heard that taking GMAT more than five times will give you a big red flag on your application. Does anyone has any opinions on this? My target schools are in those top 15 schools, so will taking too many GMAT reflect poor application?
Actually i have also take GRE for 3 times as well, scoring 94% in Q and 54% in Verbal. Do i still have a shot in any of top 15 schools? Will taking more GRE test will also affect my application as well as GMAT?

To answer your immediate questions - Business Schools don't really care how many times you take the GMAT, so taking the GMAT again won't be a problem.
You're ultimately asking Admissions questions, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

With a 590, it will probably be difficult to get into a Top15 School - however, if you have a strong OVERALL application, then you could still potentially get in with that score. My guess is that the Admissions Experts will probably recommend that you retake the GMAT.
What were each of your GMAT Scores and GRE Scores (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each, not the percentiles) and on what date did you take each Test?

Retaking any of the test should not be a problem. Schools look at the highest scores only.
But before you retake the test, you need to make up your mind about the test that you have to take.
Taking both the tests and that too multiple times will not help.
Every test needs a focused preparation and without that, it is very difficult to get a good score.
Decide the test, follow a good study material and then re appear for the test.
Retaking any of the test should not be a problem. Schools look at the highest scores only.
But before you retake the test, you need to make up your mind about the test that you have to take.
Taking both the tests and that too multiple times will not help.
