Hi all,
I am taking the Princeton Review course and I am about to take a practice test tomorow, any suggestions from gurus? I am still getting scores in the 550s and would like to break the 600 barrier as one of my short term goals.
My weakest area by far is the CR section of the verbal and I have an 80% hit rate on the math questions in the OG11 (have not yet finished it). My math score refuses to go beyond 40 and my verbal has hit a ceiling of 28 for the past couple of weeks. My observation is that if I don't get some types of questions correctly, then I wouldn't be able to break these barriers.
I do a very good job at getting 90-95% of the first 10-15 questions for math and about 80-85% for the first 10-15 in verbal, however I struggle with permutations/probability and with CR primarily.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

For permutations/probability, I think this forum provides the best/hardest problems. I guess you could either search the math forum or buy the challenges. Personally, I bought the challenges and found them to be the best resource for math out of all my study materials (PR Cracking, Kaplan, Kaplan 800, Kaplan Course, Arco, OG 10, OG 11). I think if you can consistently score above the 75 percentile on the challenges (1-15 are the best/hardest), that would translate into at least 45Q on the real thing.

Talk to your instructor and arrange for some extra help outside of class. PR is supposed to be really great about that. The instructor can help you figure out what's not clicking for you.
Also, are you keeping an error log? You MUST do that so you can see the patterns of where you're going wrong.
