Hi,

unfortunately I havent found my question in the FAQ or in the forum. I would like to know if you are allowed to take notes, e.g. for complex math, during the GMAT or if you have nothing but your CAT. ??

You'll be given a laminated sheet of paper, as well as a whiteboard marker. You can take notes on that sheet, but won't be able to keep it after your paper.

Yes, the board is erasable. Manhattan provides a test simulation booklet that is quite good. Here is the link: manhattan-gmat-test-simulation-booklet-w-dry-erase-marker-94084.html

I have one thing left - want to go sure:

Does this imply that you are only allowed to use this laminated paper during the essay writing, or is taking notes allowed on EVERY part of the GMAT, but you cannot keep the paper after the whole exam`??

Hi,

before you sit and start your exam (GMAT), you will be given a blank booklet (laminated sheets of paper) and 1 or 2 whiteboard markers.
You can keep and use this booklet throughtout your exam.. AWA, IR,Quant and Verbal.. all teh sections..

You can write anything in that booklet in ANY section.

Also, if you have finished your bookelt then you can raise your hand and get a new booklet. You can ask for a new booklet unlimited number of times. Same si teh case with marker.
