Hi TheRevanchist,

Have you considered taking the GRE (since that Exam grants users the utility of an on-screen calculator)? If you'd like to see how you might perform on the current version of that Exam, then you can access two free practice GRE Exams at www.gre.org. In addition, the GRE is actually going to be shortened - with the shorter version currently scheduled to be available on September 22nd.

In addition, when are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Marty, thank you for your reply!
Yes, I've read the post and GMAC's own guidelines. However, it seems that they require extensive prior paperwork and GMAC-appointed third-party diagnosis in order to qualify. The former is problematic since my doctor didn't actually give me a written record, I had just been diagnosed pretty recently, and I haven't received any accommodations in other standardized tests as well (since, for example, IELTS is purely linguistics and other tests that I took, including college exams, allowed the use of calculators).

Hi TheRevanchist.

People who have learning and attention issues are able to get GMAT accommodations, and the process is fairly reasonable from what I understand.

Hi Rich, thanks for your reply!

Yes, actually I have been considering taking GRE in the future if I scr*w up again. I think I might give GMAT one or two more shots.

The problem is I'm planning to apply to schools this year on R1 or, at the least, R2 since I have a time limit on my scholarship, which requires me to get a school by Q3 of next year.

Will it be feasible to switch to GRE given the time constraint, including writing the essays and all?

Oh, and my priorities are, in order, MIT, Columbia, HBS, and Oxford. Though I'm not really picky on which B-school so long as it's top-10 by rank, again, a constraint given by the scholarship.

Interesting. Maybe you should take a test that allows use of a calculator if possible.
